We prescribe a custom formula of advocacy, collaboration, policy and new ways of caring for our clients in order to help keep them healthy.

But how do we do it? We like to call it earning the right, walking the talk and playing the game …

EWCC provides personal care services that include medication reminding, medication assistance, medication administration, and nursing services. EWCC services are intended to assist clients with activities of daily living, which would include, but not be limited to, activity of daily living support, personal care, medication reminding, housekeeping services, personal laundry, cooking, shopping, assistance in getting to and from appointments, transferring in/out of bed/chair or walking, and companionship. These services are  provided for the hours and days requested by the Client             EWCC staff are considered Personal Support Services (PSS) providers, and/or Personal Support Aides (PSA). The PSS and/or PSA are licensed as Private Home Care Providers and are enrolled in CCSP to provide a range of supportive services in the member’s home setting. A Care Coordinator provides supervision of the Personal Support Aides. A Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed practical nurse (LPN), under the supervision of the RN, provides medical supervision of the Personal Support Aides and medication monitoring. The Administrator provides administrative supports and coordinates supervision of services provided. A PSS or PSA is assigned to a client to perform the duties that are required for that particular client in relation with the job description and care plan provided by the care coordinator. The services are rendered 7 days a week and anytime within a 24-hour day period, according to the care plan. Services include weekends and all holidays. Services are provided in the client’s private residence.
